The Design
As a part of Checkout Flow Refresh, I redesigned the Mini-Cart experience which allows customers to shop with more intuitive, premium and on-brand experience. This is live on site for all users now after going through A/B test. I designed new components used here, including new product tiles in different states (In stock, Out of stock, Custom order) with newly designed Quantity Selector, Naming Convention, CTAs. As UX perspective, we thought about all the possible scenarios and edge cases that are essential to this flow. I designed all the states - instance when item just added, Mini-Cart opened from the main navigation at the top, empty state, with custom order state, and more.
Since Mini-Cart is such an important part of the checkout flow that allows customers to decide their purchase, we wanted to make this experience best as possible. This project was a great collaboration with the Developers, and Product Managers.
